A Reason To Celebrate!

A milestone and proud moment for The Shell Foundation who celebrated their 10th anniversary in October.

Just a note of congratulations to the Shell Foundation Team on their 10 year celebration that I trust was thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Wishing the Foundation much success for the future as they remain one of the leaders in the industry, pioneering creative and effective development/business solutions. "When Shell Foundation was established in 2000, we had ambitious objectives to catalyse scalable and sustainable solutions to global development challenges. We set about doing this in ways that were new at the time by pioneering an enterprise based approach. We concentrated our efforts on tackling social and environmental issues in which the energy industry had particular responsibility. We also sought to test whether we could harness value-adding links to our corporate parent to maximize charitable benefit"

The Better Trading Company is one of four key strategic partners to the Foundations Trading Up program. We act as an ethical intermediary to help build sustainable supply chains that are both good for business and help eradicate poverty. We believe that we have laid a solid foundation and have the platform to achieve verifiable global scale and sustainability.

As a partnership we have ambitious business goals as well as impacting the lives and communities with whom we work in a meaningful way.
